Palin Turkey Pardon Regrets – Day 2

palinturkey

Everyone was talking about this interview yesterday. Another “I just can’t believe she did that” Palin moment.  She is the gift that keeps on giving for the media and some sort of weird comic relief for the rest of us.

Initially it was reported that Palin had no issue with it – kind of like, “What’s the big deal that I was standin’ in front of turkeys gettin’ their heads cut off talkin’ about what fun it was to be there?”

I suppose after she saw herself on the news across the country for the next 24 hours, she reconsidered.  Oooops. After crticism from PETA and much ridicule from everyone else, MSNBC now reports that she issued a statement yesterday claiming that she did not know that was the backdrop for her interview.  The thing is, that is not exactly true.  If you have seen it, at some point during the interview, she actually looks back at the odd looking gentleman in the blood soaked clothing who is beheading the turkeys.  Sarah!  There you go again.  Your nose is just growin’ longer and longer. Bless her heart!

  1. ’m shocked!

(For those of you with ADD and only focus on the bird – there is actually a very shocking message).

The shocker: A state actually saved money during a surplus!

    Ok, I’m officially shocked!

Other states like Illinois spent all their surplus and now asking for help. What if companies did this – saved money for a rainy day – instead of spend – we would have a different economic situation.

It is really common sense. We need that in our government.

And the reason why so many people are still talking about Palin is because she is a threat. You see the Obama administration is so focused on presentation, even to a fault, spending great time making sure they look good.

The biggest threat to Obama’s strategy is having someone who is real and authentic come along with an actual REAL record to show for it.

So what a turkey is slaughtered. I’d rather my leaders spend her time worrying about government spending, than making sure her setup is perfect.

    But as for Me…

I look at the record of leaders, not how they present themselves. Saving money. Now that’s smart.
