Palin Blasts Media Claiming She is Misunderstood Again
Palin blasts the media again after another in a series of neverending I blame anyone but myself on why the republicans lost the 2008 election interviews. Sarah Palin contradicts herself at an alarming rate. Consider her statement that she felt that if she had had more media exposure during the 2008 campaign, that would have made the difference in the election. Then there is the John Ziegler interview where she is claiming to be victimized by the very “mainstream media” that would have helped her win the election, but now saying that the media helped her lose it. <scratching head> Yes, her views on the media are so confusing it is hard to understand why she keeps putting herself out there claiming to be “misunderstood,” yet clearing up nothing with her incessant interviews.
Now CNN reports that she issued a statement about her John Ziegler interview because that nasty “mainstream media” is ouit to get her again. According to CNN:
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s office accused the media Friday of habitually taking her remarks out of context “to create adversarial situations,” and of pursuing “erroneous and often outrageous leads on a variety of non-issues.”
The statement also charged that some members of the media, including independent bloggers and the Atlantic, were continuing “to give credence to the sensational allegation that the governor’s child, Trig, is not hers.”
“As a public official, I expect criticism and I expect to be held accountable for how I govern,” Palin said in a statement released by her office Friday. “But the personal, salacious nature of recent reporting, and often the refusal of the media to correct obvious mistakes, unfortunately discredits too many in journalism today, making it difficult for many Americans to believe what they see in the media.”
OK, I agree with her about the speculation that Trig is not hers as being as relevant as President Elect Obama palling around with William Ayres or the too, too tiresome saga of the controversy over his birth certificate. Welcome to public life Sarah! You engaged in this kind of crap by implying that Obama was a terrorist and a socialist when you know that he is not. It doesn’t feel too good though when it is done to you now does it? Sarah Palin can dish it out, but she can’t take it.
I like the one recurrent them that she really dislikes us bloggers who are successfully keeping her in check. Well, there’s an army of us Sarah and we all see you for the Ms. Wasilla phony, fake bubble head that you are.
