A Time for Change

Things do not happen. Things are made to happen. – JFK

JFK

Our 35th President, John F. Kennedy, was, in my opinion, one of the best that this country has ever had.  When tensions were at their highest during the cold war, he kept a steady hand.  If another President had been elected, would the Cuban Missile Crisis have resolved peacefully? He stood firm in his belief  that African Americans were entitled to full civil rights at a time when it was dangerous to make such statements in many parts of this country.  And America was greatly admired because Kennedy had the world’s respect.  These were just a few of his many contributions during his short presidency.

Some great moments in his Presidency

Kennedy had a vision of where he wanted the country to be and he lead us there.  He did it with courage and conviction in extremely turbulent times. If the journey had not been cut short, who knows what he could have accomplished or how far he would have taken us.
